Does ShipServ work with my existing marine software / ERP system?

Yes. Since our launch, we have made a major commitment to enabling better communication between existing computer systems/ maritime purchasing systems and our trading network.

As part of this drive we have entered technical and commercial relationships with all of the major providers of both marine software and general ERP software. This means that a shipping company can be fully set up in 1 or 2 months, with no complicated setup or configuration required.

Very little training is required since users will typically work within an interface with which they are already familiar.

I don't have an ERP or formal procurement system

If you have no purchasing system, you can get all the benefits by using ShipServ’s own software:

ShipLink:  the shipboard software that lets ship personnel browse catalogs, create requisitions, manage delivery status and develop reusable templates.

WebBuyer:  an entirely web-based tool that allows shore based buyers to review requisitions, manage RFQs and place orders, without any software to buy or maintain.

Does ShipServ work with my bespoke / custom ERP?

Yes - that's not a problem and we have successfully implemented dozens of these over the years.

We have a dedicated in-house IT and implementation team who will work with you on an integration to your bespoke system.

How long does it take to implement ?

If you're using a marine ERP (where we have already-built connectors with most major systems) it usually takes less than a month to get up and running.

What support is available during the implementation?

We have very experienced IT/technical support teams who have done hundreds of implementations before, as well as your ShipServ account manager.
