Single Company Profiles in Search

Why you now have one Profile in Search when you had previously had multiple profiles in Pages and how this affects you

Why we've grouped your branches under one profile

Previously in Pages, each one of a company's locations (branches) had its own individual profile. However, we’ve listened to buyers feedback who want to see one company profile that represents a real-world perspective of a Company’s capabilities and geographical reach.

Therefore we’ve grouped all branches together under one single company profile. Buyers will be able to view all your branches within the profile.

This means you’ll only need to update your profile in one place. The capabilities of all your branches combined will also improve your ranking and searchability for buyers.

Who can change and update the profile content?

We’ve assigned one branch to manage the profiles content.

Only administrators of the managing branch can can change core content such as the profile name, description, brands and categories.

Admins from branches that are part of the group, whom are not a member of the managing branch, can update their own branch contact details and ports information.

If you’d like to change which branch will be assigned to manage your profile, please contact account manager or chat to our support team ↘️ ↘️ ↘️

See your branches from the branches tab in your profile

If your organisation has multiple regional or global branches, they can be seen under the ‘Branches’ tab on your profile. Buyers will receive a full view of your geographical reach and contact details.

Grouping does not compromise your exposure to buyers but instead directs them to the branch that makes the most sense to trade with.

What if I don't wish to display one of our branches in the profile?

In circumstances where you have multiple branches, but you prefer not to display a branch (e.g. because they are a marketing branch or is the Head office), then you can hide that branch from being displayed in the profile.

Click here and go to Branches. Here you will have the ability (if you are an administrator for the company) to select whether to Show or Hide in Search Profile

The impact of choosing to "Hide in Search Profile" will remove the branch from being displayed in the Branches list (on your profile) and any ports which are linked to that branch you are hiding. If you choose to hide the Parent branch, that is supported. All of the profile content that you have setup against the Parent branch will remain viewable on the company profile, all with exception to any ports linked to that branch (ports linked to other branches in your profile will still be displayed).

What if we are operating as different companies?

If your different company entities are trading in the same products and services, within different geographical regions, we recommend having just one company profile.

In instances where different company entities have completely different capabilities we allow separate independent profiles. For example, branch A only trades in pumps, while branch B only trades in medical equipment.

Our companies are not grouped under one profile.
How can we group them?

If there are branches within your Company that have separate profiles in the search results and you would like to combine and group them, please contact account manager or chat to our support team ↘️ ↘️ ↘️
