There are a number of reasons why we signed up to SmartSupplier. A lot of our products are very time sensitive. For example, if a customer needs calibration gas, the reality is that they often want it delivered ‘yesterday’!
So, it’s crucially important that we can respond to RFQs incredibly quickly and manage the order through our systems so that products are delivered efficiently when and where customers need them.
It also reduces a lot of administration work for us, and has injected significant efficiencies into our sales processes.
