Last Prices Quoted

The last prices quoted display matching line-items you previously quoted for the same buyer, including whether you won or lost at that price helping you maintain a competitive edge.

Quality of Matches

The quotes returned as last price quoted are based on the data available in the line item, and Shipserv has added an indication on each quote depending on matched data, if the line item is a direct match the returned result will have a high indication, medium quality matches are based on similar quality and low-quality matches are based on matches to the description.

Quote Status

As well as the quality of the returned quote, we also show the current status of the quote, giving you more insight into your previous quotes and informing you if the quote was won, lost or still awaiting buyer input.

How it benefits you

The pricing bar provides a range of benefits to yourself and the buyer.

  1. Quote quicker - decrease response time

  2. Quote consistently - avoid subjective pricing decisions

  3. Quote competitively - make decisions off previous performance

How it works

Below is a step-by-step overview on how the pricing bar works. To get the most out of the pricing bar, utilize the 'Supplier Part Number' when trading. To learn more about the Supplier Part Number field, click here.

1. Leaning your assortment…

As your quoting, when you enter your Supplier Part Number we learn what your assortment is, the frequency you supply particular products and the price you quoted.

3. Finding matching historic quotes and product pricing

When you select a line-item whilst quoting, we use the data in the line item to find you the best matches to products in your assortment, their prices and any historic quote matches.

Upload your assortment (catalogue)

Uploading your assortment on ShipServ will help speed up the time it takes the ShipServ Platform to learn from your trade.

Already have a public catalogue on ShipServ?

Catalogues can be difficult to maintain - by still continuing to enter your Supplier Part Number when trading we'll be able to ensure we keep up-to-date with your assortment without the manual efforts.

Don't have (or want) a catalogue public to Buyers on ShipServ?

No problem! You can still provide us with your catalogue, it just won't be visible or accessible to Buyers. Download the template below and send it back to us at support@shipserv.com or via out live chat.
