How to invite users to ShipServ, and manage invite permissions
Inviting users couldn't be simpler!
To ensure full collaboration, by default anyone can invite users (*see below setting to change default). All you need to invite a colleague is their email address.
Login to shipserv.com:

Go to the ShipServ Settings menu on the left, select Users and then click "Invite user".

Fill in the email address of the new user and tap just below it to Invite 'the new email address'!📨

If they forget to join, we'll send reminder a couple days later. You can resend the invite to remind the user, and an Admin can toggle the user's role between User and Admin. Refer to this article for more information on the roles of User and Admin.

⚠️Note: All newly added users are invited with a standard user role. The role can be changed once invited.
Restricting Invitation Permissions
⚠️Note : the following steps can only be performed by users with the Administrator role
*If you are looking to remove the ability for any of your company's users to send invitations to new employees, you can restrict this function to administrators only.
To do this, log into Trade as an Admin and click on the Settings icon in the menu bar to the left. Click the Settings menu, and you can then toggle off the User Invites switch.

Leaving it switched on (to the right), will allow all users in your company to send invitation emails out to new users. Switched off, this will mean that only Admins can perform this function.
Resend invite
Once invited, you'll be able to see whether the user has accepted the invite.
Naturally, invites get lost, forgotten and disappear… when that happens, just tap on the resend invite button next to the user's name.
