What you'll see in StartSupplier

How to switch to and start using Trade

We have created a Webinar to outline and introduce the switch and new features in the Trade Platform - please watch it below

If you've already set up your account in Trade and have access, skip to step 2 for details on what to do next.

Note:
The user accounts for accessing Trade are not the same as the ones you used for SmartSupplier and StartSupplier. You will need to create new user accounts.

Note: If you are unsure whether your account is already activated, get in touch with our support team.

Step 1: Activating your account on Trade

If you've not yet activated your account (Supplier TNID), you'll need to complete our onboarding process. The onboarding process takes just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to active your account.

  1. Nominate an admin set up your account. This should be an individual with sufficient permissions to act on behalf of your organisation, not a shared login. For more information on what a user account is, click here.

  2. Get in touch with our support team and ask them to activate your account - let them know the TNID and who the admin is. You can via email them at support@shipserv.com or by clicking the chat button in the bottom right-hand corner.

  3. The admin will receive an email with a link where the admin can create their user account. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Upon creating your account, for security you'll receive a verification email. Just click on the button to verify your account.

Once the admin has created and verified their user account they will be able to login and access trade for that TNID.

Step 2: Inviting other users

Once the admin has created their user account they can invite other users and set their permissions. You can add and manage users from the company settings.

For more information see the below help articles…

Step 3: Start trading…

You can start trading right away. SmartSuppliers (now Trade Business) will be able to view and search all documents. StartSuppliers (now Trade Basic) will continue to access their documents via links on transaction emails.
